What's new with The Verse of the Day?

To The Verse of the Day Subscribers
Following the ministry news e-mail in the spring we received the financial support needed to update the ministry server hard drives and memory. During the past five months the focus has become migrating the ministry websites onto our server for the increased available system resources --- positioning the ministry to reach even more people for the love of God. I am pleased to share the process is moving smoothly.
The time has come to begin sending our e-mail edition of daily devotion through the ministry server. This will begin with the Saturday September 14th 2013 edition of 'The Verse of the Day'.
This presents us with an opportunity to grow: Once we establish this is working well we will begin offering the daily devotion in each persons local time zone. What this means is for people who live outside of Canada and the United States the date of the devotion will match their local date. The delivery time you choose will continue to be available.
It is my intention that no one will get lost during the transition, but it is also very possible some "growing pains" will be experienced. I want each of you to know the current edition of 'The Verse of the Day' is always available online. If you think something is wrong please complete our "Contact Us" form.
I want to thank each of you who supported me in prayer as I underwent and began to recover from my left hip joint replacement surgery in May 2013. The surgery itself was successful. My right hip joint is also in need of replacing. This has made the recovery especially difficult. I ask for your continued prayerful support.
