What's New With The Verse Of The Day

Sunday June 21st 2015 11:17 pm

To The Verse of the Day Subscribers and Web Site Users

During the past six weeks we've been planning a major overhaul for the software that runs The Verse of the Day web site. We have begun the software updates and expect to continue this process during the next two weeks. Would you please join in prayer and thanksgiving for the help being made available to facilitate this?

The changes being made are to give us the technical ability to allow more people the use of our web sites each day and experience the love and grace of God. I am especially keen to see a Member Area established so we may have fellowship with one another. I also want to launch a Christian syndicate on The Verse of the Day web site as a venue for networking within the body of Christ. I feel it is really important that we have one another to talk with as we grow in our faith.

I am continuing to face unusual challenges as I attempt to heal from my most recent surgery. I've been very blessed for the practical help of a neighbour taking me to a community swimming pool three times a week to exercise. The youth who use the pool enjoy playing catch with me. I also make a good "monkey in the middle". It is very painful and this makes it easier on me to perform my water based physiotherapy when I spend time with these youth and am focused on them. Please also pray for God ordained opportunities to speak into the lives of these children. At one point or another they have all made comments about growing into men. I'd like to be a good roll model as I work through my set of health challenges.

As I close this e-mail I want to extend a warm Happy Fathers Day both to our dad subscribers as well as to our Heavenly Father.
