Mission of The Verse of the Day

The Verse of the Day's mission is to provide encouragement to the body of Christ by supplying a five minute daily devotional consisting of scripture, a name of God in reference to His character and a devotional - reflection topic, helping Christians refocus their thoughts on the Lord Jesus Christ.

The daily e-mail available through subscription will also contain which chapters of scripture to read for those who are desiring to read through the entire Bible over the course of one year.

A blog feature will exist on the web site allowing reflection to the daily message as a means of encouragement to other users of the web site.

Additional devotional material will be made available through the web site, presented in a way which is relevant to today's culture, which further enhances The Verse of the Day's daily message.

Subscription and access to The Verse of the Day web site will be available without charge using advertising, an online store and volunteered donations to financially support this ministry.
