One Year Bible Reading Guide For Today:
Exodus 1, 2 & 3: Following Joseph's death a new Pharaoh was appointed to Egypt. Pharaoh doesn't know Joseph and opposes the Israelites, fearing they will take over Egypt. By Pharaoh's command baby Israelite boys are to be killed when born. When Moses, from an Israelite family, is born and his mother hid him while possible. Ultimately he is saved after being adopted by Pharaoh's daughter. With Moses now as an adult and knowing his heritage he killed an Egyptian to defend his people. But Moses fled to a foreign land when confronted. With God being faithful to His covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob He met with Moses through a burning bush. This began the process for God's chosen people to be let out of bondage from living in Egypt.

- The thought for the day really hit me. I have been going through a horrible divorce and have gone through some terrible things. But I need to stop my pity party and focus on the healer and not the hurt. Thanks for reminding me of that.....Anita
