One Year Bible Reading Guide For Today:
Exodus 16, 17 & 18: God's chosen people have begun to grumble against Moses and Aaron that they will die in the desert. Once again God comes through providing His chosen people quail to eat. Once again God provided life giving water to His chosen people while in the wilderness so they wouldn't perish. The Lord provided food for them in such a way that they didn't need to work on the sabbeth day collecting food. The Lord continued to teach and help Moses lead the Isrealite community. The Amalekites attack the Isrealites. With Moses arms supported the battle is won. Joshua has defended God's chosen people. Moses built an altar to the Lord celebrating the victory God gave them. Jethro, the priest of Midian, has come to see Moses from his country. Jethro both encourages and teaches Moses with the wisdom God has given him.
