The Verse of the Day for Sunday February 7th 2010
Bible Reading For Today:
Romans 13:8-10
Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. For this, "You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet," and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Love does no wrong to a neighbor; love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.

One Year Bible Reading Guide For Today:
Exodus 19, 20 & 21: The Isrealites are in the Sinai desert. Moses climbs Mount Sinai and meets with God. Moses is strengthened to lead God's chosen people during this encounter. When Moses returns to the Isrealites he briefs the Elders with the words the Lord has given him. Then all of the Isrealites prepare themselves to meet with God. During this next encounter Moses is summoned up the mountain again to meet with God for further instructions for the entire assembly. Moses descends and as instructed by God brings Aaron up with him. They receive the Ten Commandments and further instructions on how the Isrealites are to live in holiness.
