The Verse of the Day for Friday February 12th 2010
Bible Reading For Today:
2 Chronicles 7:13-14
If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people, and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
- NASB

One Year Bible Reading Guide For Today:
Exodus 34, 35, 36 & 37: In Moses anger from the sin of the Isrealites he destroyed the tablets containing the Ten Commandments. Today's reading begins with Moses climbing Mount Sinai for the Lord to write out the commandments again. As Moses makes intercession for the sin of his people the Lord's presence consumes him. Moses face becomes radiant. Again Moses speaks to the Isrealites about living in God's holiness. As well Moses shares God's plans for the Tabernacle construction and finishing elements. The construction of the Tabernacle is under way. The finishing elements are symbolic of Jesus Christ.
