One Year Bible Reading Guide For Today:
Mark 11 & 12; Psalms 20: Mark 11-12 Summary: Jesus enters Jeruslaem with great fan fare. Jesus proceeds to the Temple. With the holiness of God as His motivation Jesus drives the merchants and their customers from the Temple. Jesus authority is challenged for doing this. But in wisdom Jesus defuses the question. Jesus continues to teach using parables to those around Him. Again Jesus authority is challenged by asking if the people should pay tax. With wisdom Jesus affirms this and add's give to God what belongs to Him. Jesus continues using wisdom in the words He speaks pointing the religious rules of the day to a living God and challenging them to put their faith in Him. Jesus uses examples from every day life to share the gospel. Psalm 20 Summary: Psalm 20 is one of praise. It is a celebration of the works we do in the name of our God. There is reassurance that the Lord will be faithful to His children.
