One Year Bible Reading Guide For Today:

Numbers 7, 8 & 9: Moses has arranged an elaborate dedication of the Tabernacle to the Lord. The tools needed for the upkeep of the Tabernacle are given to the Levites. Many sacrifices are made to the Lord for the great work He accomplished in providing the vision and direction to establish the Tabernacle for the Israelites to worship. Aaron is delegated to light the lamps. The Levites go through the ceremony of being cleansed of their sin. In this ceremony the holiness of God is honoured as the Levites are the people who service the Tabernacle. The time has come for the Israelites to celebrate the Passover in the Desert of Sinai. The Lord's presence consumes the Tabernacle in the form of a cloud. As a people the Israelites have earnestly sought to please the living God.
