The Verse of the Day for Monday March 8th 2010
Bible Reading For Today:
Psalm 5:11-12
But let all who take refuge in Thee be glad,
Let them ever sing for joy;
And mayest Thou shelter them,
That those who love Thy name may exult in Thee.
For it is Thou who doest bless the righteous man, O Lord,
Thou dost surround him with favor as with a sheild.
- NASB

One Year Bible Reading Guide For Today:
Numbers 16, 17 & 18: Some Israelites are coming against Moses and his leadership of the Israelites. Moses is accused of bringing the Israelites into the wilderness to die. It isn't long before his accusers generate their own following leading to division. The Lord mightily defends Moses. With Moses devotion to God he makes intercession for those who sinned against the living God and makes an offering to satisfy the judgement of the living God. The Lord has again validated Moses as the leader He appointed. At the Lord's direction a staff from each tribe is gathered up and placed into the tent of the covenant. Aaron's staff blossoms and is placed in the ark of the covenant. The Lord continues to teach the Israelites through Aaron the duties of the priests.
