Numbers 22, 23 & 24: Balaam is summoned by Balak. Initially the Lord instructs Balaam not to go. The Lord needed more time to prepare Balaam for his purpose in this trip: Delivering prophetic messages from the living God. When Balaam humbles himself before the living God the Lord has a vessel He may use to speak to Balak. Balaam delivers numerous prophetic messages the Lord gives him.
