One Year Bible Reading Guide For Today:
Numbers 31, 32 & 33: The Lord is Holy, set apart and just in His ways. He are invited to be part of this. When we accept the Lord into our life we receive a rich inheritance as children of the King. When the Midianites defiled the Israelites the anger and wrath of God was stirred. In the Lord's holiness Moses is instructed to enact God's vengeance on the Midianites. The Lord instructs Moses on how to go about this battle and the Midianites are attacked by the Israelites. The living God continues to guide Moses and the Israelites so they will inherit the Promised land. The Lord's wisdom is dispensed from Moses in addressing the Gadites and Reubenites in a way that won't stir the anger of God. Through Moses and Aaron's leadership the Israelites time in the wilderness has refined the Israelites people so a fresh generation may enter into the Promised land. Moses has earnestly sought after the guidance of God in leading the Israelites. In doing so the Lord's favour has been with the Israelite people during their wilderness journey.
